Breastfeeding Support Group

We are looking for new Family Home Child Care Providers in all counties across Cape Breton. Are you interested in offering high quality child care in your own home? Do you want to be able to offer fee reductions to parents looking for child care? If so, call Danielle (902-631-0163). We can provide you with lots of ongoing support. No-cost start-up kits available while supplies last! Need a COVID-19 Rapid Test? No problem. Free rapid tests are available at all Family Place locations. Simply stop by the nearest office or mention it if you attend a program. Staff are happy to pass them along to you.

Share and learn breastfeeding information along with other breastfeeding mothers and their babies. Our weekly gatherings include healthy snacks and social time too. Dads and/or other support persons welcomed.
